Cowboys at Eagles Preview: Dallas Favored on Monday Night Football in Philly (7:15 PM CT, ESPN/ABC)
The Dallas Cowboys (2-4) visit the Philadelphia Eagles (2-4) tonight at Lincoln Financial Field on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is 7:15 PM CT on ESPN and ABC, streaming on Disney+. ESPN's DraftKings line has Dallas favored by 4.5, with a total of 43.5.
Our Take: Two teams with 2-4 records, one prime-time stage, and a division that is still wide open. Philly has lost four straight and will start Tanner McKee with Jalen Hurts on injured reserve. Dallas gets two defensive starters back. This is the night to lean on Javonte Williams, keep Dak Prescott clean, and leave Philadelphia with the season pointed back in the right direction.
WHO'S OUT: Dallas ruled out WR/KR KaVontae Turpin (ribs), LB Dee Winters (calf) and OT Drew Shelton (hamstring). LB Marist Liufau and S P.J. Locke stay on injured reserve and were ruled out Sunday. Good news: LB DeMarvion Overshown and CB Cobie Durant (both hamstring) are cleared to return, and WR George Pickens and CB Joey Porter Jr. carry no designation. Philadelphia ruled out WRs DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle), CB Michael Carter II (abdomen) and LB Nolan Smith (concussion). QB Jalen Hurts is on injured reserve (blood clots). RB Saquon Barkley (hamstring) is questionable after a full practice Saturday and is expected to play.
KEYS TO THE GAME:
1. Run it. Javonte Williams has 317 rushing yards and 7 rushing TDs, per ESPN.
2. Make McKee beat you. With Smith and Wicks out, the Eagles are thin at receiver.
3. Watch Barkley's workload. He has 182 rushing yards on 36 carries in an injury-hit season.
4. Dak and CeeDee. Prescott has 1,639 yards, 10 TDs and 5 INTs. CeeDee Lamb leads Dallas with 577 receiving yards.
WHERE TO WATCH & LISTEN: TV on ESPN and ABC (WFAA 8 in Dallas) at 7:15 PM CT, streaming on Disney+ and NFL+. Radio on 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM) in Dallas/Fort Worth and the Dallas Cowboys app. The national radio call is on Westwood One. Follow along on CowboysOfDallas.com.
